Cash O’Brien is a 25-year-old songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Cash emerged into adulthood during streaming era, with an endless array of sounds at his fingertips, and aspires for a similar boundlessness in his music. His original releases chronicle love, heartbreak, and loss, with his tenor vocals floating over lush dark guitar chords and tasteful production.  His sound is shaped from a wide range of influences: 80’s pop to 90’s alternative rock, folk/country to R&B, ambient electronic and hip-hop.

While some of his collaborative work—like composing the viral hit “Space Girl” by Frances Forever—has earned hundreds of millions of streams, Cash is very comfortable with his current anonymity. Happilyy playing the long game, Cash is working on a discography of music he truly loves and shaping his career as a solo artist and producer. With new solo releases and an EP with alt-pop trio Spit/Kiss on the way, look out for more music from Cash in 2025.
